Every visit helps keep this celebration alive.

Founded in 2003, Glosjam is the longest standing family festival in Gloucester. Glosjam began as a way to mark Jamaica Independence Day here in Gloucester, to celebrate culture, heritage, and identity through music, dance, and community gathering.

As someone with Jamaican roots, born and raised in Gloucester, I saw the potential to create something that connected both parts of that experience. We bring people together to enjoy sound system culture, live performances, and a mix of local talent, right in the heart of the city.

Since our first event, Glosjam has grown into a space where we showcase what Gloucester has to offer, from homegrown DJs and spoken word artists to dancers, food vendors, and youth talent.
